About us
Founded by Gürsel Yıldız and Murat Yıldız, Yıldız İnşaat Madencilik has been bringing Eskişehir’s magnesite to industry for more than thirty years.
Pioneering the mining sector
A story that starts at Ballık and reaches industry
The company was founded on 6 June 1994 by Gürsel Yıldız and Murat Yıldız as Yıldız İnşaat ve Madencilik Ltd. Şti. and began its work in the mining sector.
Today we operate a magnesite mine at Ballık, within Satılmışoğlu in Eskişehir’s Tepebaşı district, under a licence held by our company.
Our process starts with extracting run-of-mine magnesite ore on our licensed site. In the first stage, crushing, screening, washing and hand sorting produce raw magnesite in 2–10 cm lumps. In the second stage, the 0.5–2 cm fine ore passes through a magnetic separator, then through washing and hand sorting, to become fine-grained raw magnesite.
Since 2010 we have supplied domestic and export markets, mainly in response to demand. Our goal is to keep improving production and beneficiation by following technological developments, and to raise our quality and capacity continuously.
Magnesite and us
Eskişehir’s link with magnesite goes back almost a century. Our part began in 1994.
Magnesite production began in Türkiye.
French and Austrian investors built calcined magnesia plants in the Sepetçi and Margı (Kozlubel) villages of Eskişehir; these plants are no longer in operation.
Gürsel Yıldız and Murat Yıldız founded Yıldız İnşaat ve Madencilik Ltd. Şti.
We began supplying domestic and export markets.
